The holidays often inspire us to eat hot dishes and spend more time with our families. Furthermore, to make fun, a good drink a sip tastes close to the fire and you're ready to bask in the holiday season! Here are some great drink recipes to try (or, as a reminder, if you have one before).

Hot Buttered Rum

Ingredients:
2 c. Vanilla
C. 1 Granulated sugar
C. 1 brown sugar
C. 1 Butter
Replace rum(Without Alcohol)
Nutmeg
Water

Instructions: Mix the brown sugar and butter in a saucepan and adjust. Set to melt over low heat until the butter. Be sure to stir occasionally. When butter is melted to give, pour the mixture into a large bowl and ice. Whisk together until the mixture is smooth. To drink the rum, butter, fill 1 / 4 of a cup with the mixture, add about a replacement ounces of rum and 3 / 4 of a cup of boiling water. Start with a pinch of nutmeg. 1 / 2 cup rum, substitute(Without Alcohol)

Instructions: Mix all ingredients together in a pot (or slow cooker) and heat over medium heat. Once the mixture is hot to reduce to low heat and allow to speculate about an hour. Serve hot, garnished with a cinnamon stick or two.

Approach.

With 1 'Wooden spoon, mix the syrup and white sugar together in bowl. Note: If the first peanuts, pecans or other should be used first in this recipe, then add salt and mix 1/8-tsp here.

2 Cover the bowl with a paper towel or cloth to microwave.

3 Microwave the mixture with the high setting for 4 minutes or until syrup turns light brown.

4 Add the salted peanuts and mix them

5 Microwave again for 4 minutes on setting high(3-5 minutes depending on oven). Do not skip this step, otherwise the fragile it is properly after installation.

6 Add the butter and vanilla extract to the mixture. Blend well with a wooden spoon.

7 Microwave mixture back of the high setting for 1 minute. The syrup is very hot (at least 300of)

8 Quick, add the yeast and gently mix with a spoon until soft.

9 Pour the hot liquid in the pot cookies, and spread onThickness of peanuts all, about 1/8-inch or so.

10 Let cool for 30 to 60 minutes.

Another popular dessert in Mexico ateespecially during the holidays as pancakes with maple syrup known. These fried cakes from Spain and can be made with flour, baking powder, vegetable fat, salt and water. After frying, maple syrup or brown sugar cinnamon syrup, vanilla, honey, cinnamon and water is poured over hot pancakes.

If you have at your fingertips, you can make your own maple syrup from just four ingredients: a cup each of water, white sugar and brown sugarTo extract a tablespoon of maple flavor.

Bring water and two of sugar to a boil over medium-high heat, reduce heat to low and add maple extract. Cook over low heat for about five minutes the hottest, stirring occasionally and your maple syrup in the house is ready. For thicker syrup, simply double the brown sugar to two cups. You can also substitute two tablespoons of butter maple extract, although the taste is not so rich.

What you need
2 eggs 1 / 2 cup of brown sugar, packed Maple syrup 1 / 2 cup 2 teaspoons flour 1 1 / 2 teaspoon cinnamon 1 / 8 teaspoon salt 1 teaspoon maple extract 2 tablespoons melted butter 2 1 / 2 cups walnuts, chopped 1 baked pie crust Fresh cream

How to get it

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a large bowl, combine eggs, brown sugar, maple syrup, flour, cinnamon, salt and maple extract and beat with alarge spoon until well blended.

Stir in the melted butter with chopped walnuts and mix well.

Pour the mixture into the pie shell and bake for 50 minutes or until center of cake. If the top of the cake is dark brown before the center makes set, cover the pie with aluminum foil for free to finish cooking the rest of the world.

Refrigerate the cake on a rack Mexican walnut cake and serve warm or cold with a dollop of whipped cream.

Serves 6.
